Seems impossible as every TV show of the last 20 years has a gay character. A loveable, quirky, good-hearted holier-than-thou and oddly sexless gay who shows all the dumb straight men the right way to be. As well as The Numinous Negro. Or Latino or Latina.

Nearly every product commercial on television features a "confused" white male adult who is then "educated" by his very wise black neighbor.

While rarely the main character, the Mayor, Chief, Director, or other head honcho is often a minority.
