The Confederate flag story is totally distorted. The flag USED to fly over the state capital. It was AGREED by black and white representatives of SC that the flag would be removed from the capital, but would fly over the Confederate cemetery and memorial close by. The black pastor that was killed in Charleston voted FOR this compromise. That flag was left to fly over the graves of the men that died for it. Now Haley has taken that down...and Hillary said in a speech at the capital steps,"isn't it wonderful to be standing here and not have the Confederate flag flying over our heads?!"

I live in SC, I am from Indiana. I'm a "northerner"...yet I deeply believe taking the flag down from a CONFEDERATE cemetery to "please blacks" is a travesty. It is HISTORY!! One NEEDS the history lesson as a constant reminder of how to avoid tragedy while making decisions in the present and future. Anyone thinking taking the flag down at a cemetery is a good idea is misjudging people who understand the truth. Haley taking the Confederate flag from a Confederate memorial puts her in league with ISIS blowing up historical religeous artifacts. ...and for about the same thoughtless reasons. I voted for her, I will not do so again. (And somebody better get Trump up to speed on the truth).
