try being Jewish (or a practicing Christian) there with all the Islams going to school there, if you think SJP and their communist friends who also “Feel the Bern” are annoying.

German universities in most federal states have traditionally been free for German citizens as well as many foreigners, including many American, Chinese and British students.

Are the muslim refugees entitled to this educational schwag too? Not that they'd accept such a great offer, but still, free is free.

Cost of living in Germany is pricey. So who’s gonna finance the housing?

Free.. basically, but there is a nominal student fee of 700 euros charged... and it doesn’t include room and board. You won’t be able to get a student loan to cover it. You also have to show you have enough money in the bank to cover your costs for the year. Used to be about $10,000 there are also very few programs that are mostly in english. People have to remember, there aren’t many German Universities and only the top students get in. As a foreign student you ware vying for a spot against other foreign students. Applying to the various institutions also requires your transcripts from America to be verified and certified, often by a regional board before you can apply. American’s can usually not count on getting a spot directly after high school, unless their SAT’s are about 1400, and they can show enough AP classes to make their diploma equivalent to the Abitur. Most of the students coming from America are attending grad school.
