Amen. But you and I seem to be alone on this. I’ve spent time down there, and even further west. Everything is hours from each other. The “natives” do a lot of things differently than those of us in more populated areas.
And finally, knowing how the man died is somewhat moot. He is dead. And the means of his death is irrelevant to his replacement process.
I don’t believe that the current administration had anything to do with his death. If they had wanted to kill him so they could replace him, they wouldn’t have waited this long.
I do believe they are happy about it, and working to put in someone favorable to their cause.
I’ve been to Presidio many times on business. I know the country. I traveled the West and Midwest for 30+ years.
Urban dwellers can never understand. Those remote places still depend on each other as a community. They are more connected to nature and reality.
