This night was a complete DISASTER for Ted Cruz.

If he can't win SC, he'll p[probably not win Texas or OK or TN or AL or GA either.

And, at some point he HAS to win one that counts. Otherwise he's just wasting somebody else's money and time.

If Ted Cruz fails to win Texas on March 1st, it is over, period, el finito, adios amigo, bon voyage, all of that.

If Ted can't win his home state of Texas in the primary season, what assurance can he give that he would win it in the general election?

Texas is where Cruz makes his last stand. IF he wins Texas, he conceivably can go on but without it?

Just like another loser who just dropped out. Professional losers do not mind spending OPM as candidates or in the $inate.
