“There are people breaking down, dropping out of classes and failing classes because of the activism work they are taking on,” said David, an undergraduate whose name has been changed to preserve anonymity. Throughout the year, he has worked to confront issues of racism and diversity on campus.

/src on/Being a the vanguard of a revolution is hard./src off/ Brown costs $60 K to attend. The sad part is most of these losers probably will find employment in the foundation supported non-profit sector.

And there are people breaking down, dropping out, and failing because of all the drinking and screwing they're doing. But nobody wants to talk about that ...

Just give every 18-year-old a free 4-year luxury vacation at a "higher education" theme park.

The only possible answer in a progressive and fair world is scholarships for activism. Drop sports scholarships and use the money to fund scholarships for rich kids trying to shed their privilege.

Yeah I was really stressed at college having been pushed by that virtual full time night job I had. Of course since there were no unlimited loan programs available at that time nor did we have luxury accommodations, we did not know how stressed out we were I guess.

EEEGADS tomorrows leaders? These universities are a hot bed of propaganda, social engineering and everything but America and American ideals. School work and advocacy are one in the same. There is no real school work going on.

I doubt many attendees at Brown are working a full-time job.

I was thinking they need a semester in Marine boot camp to assuage their sense of stress.

Student activism is a second sign of low ability.

First sign is the marshmallow major.

I’ve often thought teenagers should have to go through Marine boot camp at about 14.

Imagine the strain on students who also work a job or 3 while attending school! The horror!
