Here's the thing though: Chester A. Arthur was a British subject, and he still assumed office after Garfield was assassinated, and SCOTUS in the 1880s didn't do jack to resolve the issue. Hell, Arthur shouldn't have even been VP.

If SCOTUS didn't do nothing then, and nothing about Obama, what makes you think they're going to do something now about Cruz?
