I never said they couldn’t. Yes, they issued a statement about insulting some of their customers. And their statement also insulted some of their customers, including me. Your original point was that their response was smart for business. My point is that it would be smarter to be neutral in the culture war. It is just like actors who get very political. They have the right to support whomever they want, but it may cost them fans and patrons of their movies.
