The Pope is not singling out Donald Trump...he would not do that. He is talking globally, not just the US and he is talking in very broad terms from a Christian point of view. It is the media who is stirring the pot here. They are in bed with the elites and view Mr. Trump as a threat...which he is...to their corrupt power.
And the Pope knows it. In other words, the Pope knows that Cruz won't build a wall, despite Cruz saying in one or more debates, parroting Trump, that he would build a wall.
