Now that Pope Francis has gotten involved in our politics, does that mean that the whole catholic church loses their tax exempt status?

The Pope made a grievous error. If he had legitimate concerns about Trump’s religiosity, he should have counselled him in private. It is strange that throughout his time with Obama, the most vile advocate and supporter of abortion ever to be President, the Pope said nothing in public and his demeanor seemed to be friendly and cheerful. Also he expressed no objection or displeasure that at the reception Obama held at the White House, the guest list was dominated by homosexuals, transgenders and people who supported gay marriage. The Pope if anything has enhanced Trump’s political standing and this crude political ambush will not only fail but will diminish the Pope’s reputation as an honorable man.
WRONG! He mentioned Donald Trump by name. First and last. This was directed at Trump and only at Trump.
