Of course, Trump was referring to the pledge he signed last September in which he promised not to launch a third party bid for the White House and support the GOP nominee if he did not win the nomination.
I find it more likely that Trump is threatening to renege on the second part of that pledge, than on the first part.

If he takes his opposition to Cruz outside of the normal political realm, and into the courtroom, it can be said that he is in violation of a promise to support the nominee, no matter who the nominee is.

He's on the GOP primary ballot or caucus system in all 50 states. He;s doing well against his opponents. There is NOTHING that suggests it would be to his advantage to abandon that position. The rpess, as usual, is on the wrong track. Of course, the people, being generally morons, follow right along.

That’s rational and coherent, therefore it doesn’t matter.

Does it matter?

He is willing to break an unequivocal pledge, if he is willing to do that.....there is no telling what he would do if he ever got to the White House.

My prediction, this guy is going to go 3rd party run regardless, we should just kick him now. He is indicating that he is going to break his pledge, that pledge is required to take part in the primary.

He should be kicked now.

BLA-BLA-BLA,

He's not going to do anything like that

He just talks. Says one thing, then the opposite..

That satisfies his groupies, they never hold him to anything he says he will do.

They just love his empty threats.

I would LOVE to see him go to court with this tripe and get his ass kicked by the judge. But he has no intention to do anything.
