“Put the house and any other property in the kids name and own nothing on paper. That way there is nothing to recoup.”

There’s a five-year look-back clause. It means if you dump your property to the kids within five years of applying for Medicaid, the transfer is illegal and subject to state action.

The only way to stop this is to bring back charity hospitals. The liberal thieves who run healthcare will never allow it unless we ship them one-way to North Korea.

“We don’t carry any debt,” Scott said. “We don’t have credit card debt; we don’t have a mortgage. We’re just not that mentality of having something owed. It’s something we’re very uncomfortable with.

Well then I guess you can pay for your health coverage like the rest of us ya SAP!

Government employees and affiliated corporate employees are the more equal animals, deserving of free medical insurance.

Why should anyone be surprised that when we, the taxpayers are asked to pay their medical bills, we don't require them to give up their assets in return. Welfare is for indigents. When people are not indigent, and still ask us to pay their bills, they should not expect free money.

The only reason for complaint here is that it's Obama who's demanding that they sign up, and it's Obama that's taking their assets. They should complain about his policy, not taxpayers.

Because people are being prevented from buying free market driven reasonably priced insurance to protect their assets, and instead are left at the mercy of the healthcare-government-industrial complex whose aim is to part the middle class from the only source of exploitable wealth, their homes.

Right, so blame Obama. His name was never mentioned in the entire article.
