On the third Monday of February, Americans celebrate George Washingtonâs Birthday, often inappropriately called âPresidents Day.â Even more unfortunately, this holiday doesnât even fall on Washingtonâs Birthday due to the Uniform Monday Holiday Bill, which pushed numerous holidays to Monday in order to create more three-day weekends. Abolish President’s Day. Restore Lincoln’s Birthday and Washington’s Birthday, the way it used to be.
Just another example of how Congress has torn apart our American heritage and culture.
Why do we have a named individual for the blacks on their day and unnamed “presidents”? What happened to the father of our Nation— George Washington’s day. This is not good. Abolish MLK day too.

At the very least, let’s change it to National Civil Rights Day.
This whole business of having days is the problem. Just go back to diurnal cycles.

Everybody gets a trophy!!! Even godawful presidents. It’s a sign of the times.
