Only in popular polls, which don't take into account the reality of states voting. And if you think a ceiling of about 1/3 of (R) votes is "ahead," well, perhaps it is. But about 70% wouldn't vote for him.

Trump would lose handily in a 2-man Republican primary. The GOP is fractured, but Trump is not the answer. He does, however, count on thousands of votes from Democrats who are crossing over.
