Certainly, and rural processes are different everywhere, but when the deceased is a Supreme Court Justice, I think a little more investigation is warranted.
BTW, did you notice that Hussein 0bama was ready to name HIS minion and showed no remorse - almost as if he was expecting it, all before extending condolences to the family.

Your theory looks to be the closest. His wife was a conservative activist and he had nine kids, many, if not all, adults. If any of them suspected foul play, he or she would have demanded an autopsy. Absent that kind of a family demand, I don’t see how this can go anywhere.
