I just checked the Planned Parenthood homepage. Abortion is listed #4 on their list of services. Most of the other services are involved with safe sex and STDs. For me, personally, I'll never be fond of a group that enables self-destructive behavior, but that's not the point. The point is we have to win people over.

It seems totally reasonable to say "drop providing abortions to keep your funding". It's a win-win. Either they stop providing abortion or they lose their funding.

Isn't that how good deals are made?

I think its a choice of getting most of the loaf today, or getting nothing and “feeling righteous” to some of these guys.

Stopping the abortion funding now is 95% of the mission.
