I thought he looked disheveled and he stumbled over a few of his words.

And was classless to say he’s going to nominate a replacement, in my opinion. The cable news chatter all day yesterday discussed whether the GOP would confirm any Obama nominee, or leave the Supreme Court vacancy till after the next election.

And it seemed to me that Obama was playing into that narrative by saying that he would nominate someone. What was left unsaid was that it will provoke a huge nomination confirmation battle in the Senate.

If the GOP wants to fight such a battle that is.

I listened and until just now, I forgot that he appeared drunk to me...he did indeed have trouble speaking. Certainly not from grief!!!
