Trump may have 35% of the party of his side, but does he think the other 65% will be won over by insulting everyone else? Or is his goal to destroy the Republican chances in November to ensure a Democrat victory?
Trump didn’t support the war that we ARE STILL IN.
“A day before Sept. 11, 2001, former President Bill Clinton told an audience that he could have had Osama bin Laden killed, but chose not to, because an attack could have endangered innocent women and children in Afghanistan. âI nearly got him. And I could have killed him, but I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him.â
âAnd so I didnât do it,â the former commander in chief says.”
So much for blaming Bush for 9/11. But that doesn’t seem to matter to many posters here.
I agree - no way Trump commands a majority.
Even if it comes down to 2 in the primary at some point.
Trumps high negatives will doom him in the general.
Trump was embarrassing. I’ve never been more ashamed than last night. Two adults in my house made the decision that we will not support Trump in the general if he is the nominee. Never thought that would happen, but he would be a joke as president.
Well they may switch over after Trump forces them to show what phoneys and liars they are...
That 65% isn't one solid chunk.
It'll be peeled away in the coming weeks in 5-10-15% pieces.
How THEY will split up is anyone's guess.
I’m in the non-Trump 65 percent — and there is no way in hell I’ll vote for the petulant five-year-old.
