Its hard to say where we would be today if McCain had won in 2008, but certainly the world would be a safer, more stable place today...

At anytime since The Democratic National Committee (DNC) was created in 1848, any Republican was better than any Democrat running for President.

Period.

That doesnt mean there werent relatively rotten Republican Presidents. But the most rotten Republican President (and McLame probably would have been one of them if elected in 2008) is still a heck of a lot better than the *best* (if that word can ever be used) Democrat President.

Agree with you despite the use of McCain and stable in the same sentence.

LOL...yes, my fingers almost could not type that out...

It's hard to imagine the ME situation as it is today eight years ago.

I think even a monkey running our foreign policy initiatives could have done a better job than the three stooges: Obama, Clinton and Kerry

Trumps reputation will precede him.....The Trump Effect is in effect,

Sort of like Reagan and the Iranian hostage crisis? ...I don't think so

I may be wrong, but I think the ME various tin-hat dictators, religious nuts and various fundamentalist Jihadist waging war against each-other and the Great Satan don't see Trump as anything but a boisterous egomaniac buffoon...

To them he's all talk and no action...

They will test him, day one if he wins...

Hmmmm..Someone encouraged and enabled sooo many elements of ME chaos over the last how many years? Now who could that be?

Hmmmm... I think I can narrow that field down for you. Are you familiar with the muzzie salute?

Congrats! You win today’s “Pick the biggest prick in the pic” award.

It’s sad really, everyone in that picture knows he’s a closet Muslim, we know it as well, and yet they try to force us to join in the charade that he’s not. I barely survived the last eight years. I will lose all touch with reality if either of those democrat pinhead gets elected.

Trump said back then that going into Iraq would destabilize the Middle East. He was right once AGAIN.

GWBush estimated the Iraq strike would cost $50-60 billion.......then an angry Bush fired advisor Larry Lindsey because Lindsay dared to say the war might cost more like $100 billion.

That was in 2007 dollars.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY Iraq and Afghanistan today have cost the US some $3 TRILLION....and rivers of young blood. We/re still pouring US tax dollars into those decrepit Mideast countries, and..... as Donald says....we got NOTHING in return.

The US has never figured out that we cannot fathom the Mideast mindset. The thousand-year-old sectarian internicine warfare was kept in check by strongmen like Saddam and Khadafi.

Now these savages re marauding all over Europe.....and are coming here.

The calculating Mideast types knew the dvantage of having a superpower in their midst....and they cashed in bigtime. The US gamely decided to train the Mideasterners....it cost us billions and we managed to train 4-5 over five years. The Bank of Kabul where the CIA and DOD deposited billions to finance the war was a withdrawal only goldmine for insiders.

For public consumption, we went into Iraq to show them the advantages of democracy and to get all warm and cuddly as they embraced it.

We got nothing in return.....The war profiteering was outrageous. Neocon godfather (above the fray---living in Paris) got so rich he was starting his own oil company.

Hmm...Fifty years ago the Middle East Arab states were run by secular dictators who knew when to crack down on the Islamic crazies. The Soviet Union had turned the ME into a chess table, arming up Egypt & Syria to have a go at the Israelis, who were rehearsing their looming smackdown that would happen the following year.

But terrorism & civil war were practically unknown in 1966 except Pali terrorists working from Syria.

It was a Cold War standoff but relatively quiet. Lebanon was still a majority Christian country.

I think a better comparison would be 2006 or the tunnel war of two years back, with the usual suspects.

#Syria has manipulated #ISIS, just as Algeria’s DRS manipulated GIA 20 years ago. Oddly, both services were trained by the KGB. Hmmmm....

If we could elect Dick Cheney, he would have the shotgun to the face covered.

Better the Muslims kill each other than bother everyone else with their blood lust hatred. Sadly, Christians took a big hit, but the Western globalists don’t much care about that.
