The Goals Of Donald J. Trump's Tax Plan
Too few Americans are working, too many jobs have been shipped overseas, and too many middle class families cannot make ends meet. This tax plan directly meets these challenges with four simple goals:

Taxes
Garnish their salaries! That will bring them to heel soon enough.
budget has to be slashed and burned.
or no tax change will make up the difference.
at LEAST half a trillion trimmed off.
It’s easy to cut taxes. Cutting spending to keep from blowing up the deficit is the hard part and the part Trump isn’t talking about.
you mean like Al Sharpton and Charlie Rangel ?
how about Bernie Sanders ? Does he pay his ‘fair share’ ?
Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
They are Trump’s friends. They don’t have anything to worry about.
A tax plan Lois Lerner can love.
No IRS reform. Makes non-taxpayers the majority.
IMO all federal employees who owe taxes should be terminated and their final paycheck, money due for accumulated vacation and retirement funds retained and applied to their taxes. If that doesn’t cover it, then freeze and confiscate their bank accounts and personal property. They should also not be eligible for any unemployment compensation or any government benefits.
I would IMAGINE that their tax returns are scrutinized with the proverbial fine tooth comb.
Also a tour of Alcatraz might bring ANYONE to his/her senses. Brrrrr.
While I’m all for tax reform, the only thing that will make America America again is to severely reduce the size of government.
That is sarcasm, right? Anyone on a salary has taxes withheld already and then you have to file to get back the excess charges.
It's all a point of view.
When we returned from the KSA for the last time, we landed at LAX. We had so much stuff that the Customs guys just waved us through.
I got down on my HANDS and KNEES and KISSED the linoleum at LAX: I was SO glad to be HOME for good. I LOVE this country even with all its warts and problems.
We are SO damn DARN lucky to live here. For those who are just irritated beyond ALL things: Go visit Bangladesh, Mexico, Libya or China for one week day HOUR...to get the real feeling of this blessed and wonderful USA.
.
Not accusatory, SQ, just information! :o)
Actually, if you listen to him instead of what the pundits are saying, you will hear him talk about government efficiency. You will hear him talk about better bargaining with other nations so that we won’t be on the loosing end of the stick all the time.
You will hear him use examples about the traitor being gained in exchange for giving back mass murderers to other countries...so that they can be used against us, again.
You will hear him talk about how the US got NOTHING out of its war with Iraq, not even the oil.
You will hear him complain about the price tag on the new AF1 (I think he said around 3 billion).
You will hear him follow that up with talk about better negotiators.
He talks about how disrespected the US is in the eyes of foreign leaders because we are such poor negotiators.
You will hear him talk about import taxes on goods shipped by American companies located in foreign nations (specifically China).
He also talks about how the Chinese devalue the money which screws us out of the value of our own money.
This man is talking above the heads of most people when it comes to business and money. He is assuming that Americans are aware of how unlubricated they really are when it comes to government dealings. But, many Americans can’t even balance a check book much less understand how these issues are breaking our own Treasury.
He talks about how literally Billions and Billions and Billions (reminds me of Carl Sagan when he says that lol) of dollars are in off shore accounts, and how that money can’t even come into the nation due to current policies. He has policies which would allow that money to come back into the country, and a plan to entice American business to return.
A resurrection of jobs provides a ton of lost tax dollars. In order to have jobs, you have to have wealthy businessmen and investors. To have a good tax income, one must make a lot of money and when people have a lot of money, they like to spend that money and have some fun...goods, services, entertainment, charitable donations et al.
There are many ways to make a buck, taxes aren’t the ONLY way.
Yep, he’s talking, and really the only people NOT bitching about Trump as president is.....Business. Think about that.
The only business complaining are those super pacs who sunk their money into loosing candidates because even they got caught up in political correctness ...which cripples and stifles innovation, because that’s what socialism does.
Yes, he’s talking. He’s talking loud and clear but a person needs to develop ears to hear.
I am talking about tax CHEATS, not about those who are HONEST about their wages, tips, etc. Cheating is lying. Why would anyone condone lying? Lying to the IRS is incredibly stupid as well.
I have no sympathy for tax cheats. People who will LIE on their tax forms will lie any time/where. One can't simply LIE only in one area of his/her life. Lying is a way of thinking...and is habit forming.
No sarcasm here, AJ.
This plan should not fly until everyone working, is also paying taxes at the same rate as the “rich”. No class warfare allowed, everyone has skin in the game, it is the only way.
Spending is allowed up to and including the last farthing of tax revenue that is projected to be sent to DC. Not one cent further, and tax money does not go directly to DC from any citizen. The States act as a filter as they should.
IOW they pay their own way first with money earned in the state, not waiting interminably for it to return with strings attached and borrowed from who knows where at the whim of the all too generous federal leviathan.
Trump has been a lifetime progressive retard, so this “tax plan” doesn’t surprise me in the least.
“1. Tax relief for middle class Americans”
not possible at present spending levels
[The middle class shouldn’t be promised tax cuts - sorry, but the welfare state needs to be paid for (or reduced)]
[The lazy are eating, watching TV, surfing the net, sleeping, chatting away, etc. at your expense.]
2.Simplify the tax code
[about the only practical one of the four.]
3.Grow the American economy
[only modest growth is possible, unless we invite 300 million more people in - do you want that? and small apartments for your grandchildren?]
growth can mainly come from:
a. putting disabled people in jobs
b., increasing the PPACA 30-hour cap to say 35 hours
c. getting people in areas of high unemployment into factory jobs [financed by requiring public employee unions to manage their own pension funds/funding - their best investments would be in the burgs that pay them since local investments would pay both profits and additional tax revenue]
d. opening up the medical trades (such as dentistry - I could use a few affordable implants myself)
Remember, if you are already busting your posterior, your output isn’t going to grow by much. Most Americans who work, work hard.
“4.Doesn’t add to our debt and deficit, which are already too large.”
If the middle class are to pay significantly less, the high income crowd (and poor folks [really?]) need to pay more.
