Now, let’s talk about Cruz’s saying he was going to imitate Reagan’s 11th Commandment. How has that worked out? Take the beam out of you own eye before trying to remove a speck from someone elses.
I know you’re trying to shift this to a bash Beck thread - but it’s Donald Trump who is the subject and the one who is running for office - asking for votes.
Many voters want to know Trump and his relationship to God.

He did in at least one general election. My point was more to the reaction of the press getting all defensive about what it wants to now portray as a bad choice by the voters. I pulled Reagan out of the air, because the press hates honest small-government conservatives that can talk directly to the people, and I just assumed that the press would make excuses for Iowa going to Reagan. “Fooled us” or whatever works at the moment.
Years ago, bless her heart, my mom would watch on TV Jim & Tammy Bakker, Gene Scott (in L.A.), etc. etc. All they did was solicit money. Luckily, she never sent them any.

Trump: Cruz can't be an evangelical Christian when he's such a liar
Donald Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to question whether fellow Republican candidate Ted Cruz is really a Christian. His tweet followed up on a post from Thursday night in which Trump said Cruz "is the worst liar, crazy or very dishonest. Perhaps all 3?"
