Donald Trump took a swipe at Mitt Romney on Wednesday night, complaining to a TV interviewer that the 2012 Republican nominee was attacking him via a new super PAC formed for that purpose.
Trump, speaking to Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, was asked about Our Principles, the group run by former top Romney aide Katie Packer that has been running ads portraying him as a fake conservative. Story Continued Below
“They are all aiming at me, I guess, and that’s fine. And so far, it‘s been only driving my numbers up. They should have devoted more time to Mitt Romney and helped him win instead of looking at, you know, taking other people down,†Trump said.

This effort will fail, just like the anti-Trump ads in Iowa and NH, they just bounce off. I saw an anti-Trump ad on FOX tonight, but I didn’t notice what group or candidate did that one.
Romney might be hoping for a brokered convention so he can pull a Biden. Show up as the hero savior without ever getting one vote in the primaries.
They will someday truly piss off the Donald and he will go scorched earth on them.
He needs to run ads that hit the manipulators behind the other candidates! i.e. People like Rupert Murdoch.. Shine the light of day on the vampires!
He can use his settlement money from Univision, a worthy use of a deserved settlement. :-)

There were a couple of guys that know SC politics well on the (non)Megyn show last night (there are links to it on various threads here, primarily Trump threads IIRC). They said SC folks do not like negative ads, especially the Evangelicals (about 65% of SC population). This ad will probably backfire (hopefully so).
