Elizabeth Warren: I agree with Donald Trump on taxes

Elizabeth Warren has endorsed Donald Trump -- on taxes, anyway.

Warren, the Massachusetts senator and populist champion, said Tuesday that she supports Trump's proposal to levy higher taxes on the rich.

"There are a lot of places where he gets out and talks about important things," Warren said during an appearance on "The View." "Donald Trump and I both agree that there ought to be more taxation of the billionaires, the people who are making their money on Wall Street."

Warren rejected co-host Joy Behar's suggestion that Trump had taken a "liberal position."

"It is a pretty right position," Warren said, arguing that the majority of Americans share that view. Warren's praise is likely to give more ammunition to the conservatives who insist that Trump, the current frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination, is actually a liberal. The billionaire developer said last month that he's in favor of raising taxes on wealthy Americans, winning the approval of another progressive icon: New York Times columnist and Nobel laureate Paul Krugman.

Donald Trump Once Proposed The Largest Tax Hike In American History.

After announcing his campaign for President, Donald Trump wrote in his campaign book that he wanted to raise taxes by over $5 trillion – that’s trillion, with a T.

Donald Trump: “I would impose a one-time 14.25 percent tax on individuals…” raising “$5.7 trillion in new revenue.”(Donald Trump, The America We Deserve, print edition 2000, p. 170)

Guess what, Trump is at 44% today for the very reason you and others have been doing this for months, and it has turned folks off.

This isn’t going to help. It is hurting your candidate.

It worries me that Trump has received an endorsement (of sorts) from a Democrat.

Yesterday I wondered just how we were going to pay for “everything” that he promised for health care. Now I know.

Of course Elizabeth Warren agrees with Trump. They are both New England liberal liars. She pretends to be a native american, he pretends to be a conservative.

Trump’s right to propose that the so-called “carried interest” of hedge fund managers should be taxed as ordinary income, not as a capital gain.

He got one from Jimmy Carter the other day. The liberal endorsements continue to pile up.

Perhaps you should look at his tax proposal. I don't see anything there that says he is raising taxes. But, lets trust a liberal, they are so truthful especially when they are helping your candidate

I *think* Trump was proposing that 5 Trillion dollar tax hike to alleviate debt.

Krugman and Warren view that as additional income for socialist playtime.

I could be wrong about Trump’s intentions ... I am not making excuses for him ... it is not my intent to whitewash things he has said. I’m only explaining the Warren/Krugman side views his ideas as favorable.

"conservative" vs. "liberal" is the tool the globalists have used to seize control, and our nation is washing away before our eyes,

"Conservatism™" is merely globalism wrapped in the flag. Listen to the globalists here talk about American union workers. They speak like our American brothers and sisters are worse than Chinese communist slave factory proprietors.

Why not sales tax stock market transactions. Same for real estate sales. Use imagination where the money is.

Yes, we should remain fixated on other people’s income tax. Not that its any of our business what other people’s income or tax brackets are, whether they be hedge fund managers or grocery store managers.
