Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that the Democratic race for president could drag on for months -- and possibly to the Democratic National Convention in July.
In an interview with CNN, Reid said that the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton shows no signs of dying down, even as the former secretary of state had hoped the upcoming Nevada caucuses and South Carolina primary would be her launching pad to the Democratic nomination.

I am hoping that the Dims splinter into the myriad of special interest groups that comprise that party.
Bernie is not going to happy with his colleague!
More like 110%. Fudge factor.
“I am hoping that the Dims splinter into the myriad of special interest groups that comprise that party.”
And I’m hoping Reid’s brother knocks out his other eye.
Probably means that he knows that Bernie is completely schlonged and it's going to be Hillary on the first ballot. How often is it that Harry Reid is telling the truth about anything?
fine, just burst my bubble of hope! (growling at the screen) LOL :^)
In other words, “We don’t care what all you primary voters want out there...We’re going to pick who we want...What YOU want doesn’t matter...”
All made possible when Democrat appointed Superelectors are thrown into the College, given HRC a 14% advantage.
They’ve only themselves to blame. Ought to be an interesting summer. No doubt the immature child like jr. Dems will be rioting. I wonder who will fund the riots. Putin?
What would be historic would be for a group of Democrat delegates to object to having either a criminal or a communist as their candidate!
Thrown into what college? Don’t follow.
Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature. - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
This is how rigged the Democrat nomination is:
Approx. 15% of the delegates are superdelegates. Those all go to Hillary.
Therefore for Bernie to win, he’d have to win almost 60% of the remaining 85% that are determined by caucuses and primaries.
He’d have to have a NH everywhere.
The Dems/progressives/Marxists just HATE free and fair elections. "Super delegates" is a deceptive euphemism for DNC members voting for whomever they want, irrespective of the states' vote. And, Hillary Rodham owns (okay, rents) the DNC. (Seem a bit Stalinist?)
The Bernie Sanders of the world are typically just fine with this arrangement, as they so foolishly think that it will never affect them. Ha!
Super delegates... The other Politburo.
.
Good analysis.
That implies Burney’s financial contributors at this stage are idealistic libnuts, or hard core leftys trying to pull Hildabeast in their direction.
I recently heard on a talk show that the delegates won by primary and caucus are required by the rules to vote for their candidate "only if it doesn't interfere with their conscience."
So even that is watered down.
Bernie might still win it by winning a simple majority of the elected delegates.
Hannity speculated today that the superdelegates would abandon Hillary in that case.
Apparently something like that happened in 2008.
