The Democratic National Committee has rolled back restrictions introduced by presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008 that banned donations from federal lobbyists and political action committees.
The decision, which may provide an advantage to Hillary Clintonâs candidacy, was viewed with disappointment Friday morning by good government activists who saw it as a step backward in the effort to limit special interest influence in Washington.

Bernie is gonna make a lot of hay with this one.
Everyone should make a lot of hay about this.
Total Hippocracy. Stand for nothing. Its like claiming banks had anything to do with the financial collapse ( It was government guaranteed loans to people that could never pay that back- those loans were tranched or bundled and sold with out recourse on the secondary market because they were guaranteed to be paid back by you!!) But I digress.
Anyway, then hillary runs around blaming the banks in a total lie and then takes $650,000 for 3 speeches to praise Goldman Sachs???? You can’t make up that hippocracy. The Democratic party must like the “Citizens United” decision by SCOTUS.
Meanwhile, Obama took foreign money, and the FEC knew about it, but said since it wouldn’t change result of election, didn’t matter, IIRC.
I know a number of Bernie supporters. I keep telling them they are wasting their time, because the fix is in for Hillary. I point out the coin toss in Iowa, the distribution of delegates in New Hampshire, now this. They don’t like it, but they can’t blame any of it on the mean, evil Republicans and they know it. They can see for themselves that the DNC is screwing their beloved Bernie out of the nomination. It won’t necessarily cause any of them to vote Republican in November, but it will hopefully make them disgusted enough with their own party to stay home.
