Trump And Univision Settle Miss Universe Lawsuit

Donald Trump and Univision settled Thursday his $500 million lawsuit against the Spanish language media company for dropping his Miss Universe pageant after he complained about Mexican criminals illegally crossing the border into the United States.

The terms were not disclosed but both parties were all kissy-kissy Thursday despite his acrimonious breach of contract claim that accused Univision of bowing to pressure from part-owner and key Hillary Clinton donor Haim Saban to cut him loose.

But Trump said in a statement that, “I have known Univision’s President and CEO Randy Falco for more than 20 years and I’m glad we are able to put these differences behind us.”

Falco was equally conciliatory. “I have known Donald Trump for many years in both a personal and professional capacity and we are pleased to settle this matter and move forward,” he said.

Good to know Trump has some extra cash on hand to fund his campaign.

Trump can go after the money of Mexican crooks such as their politicians, business cronies, and drug cartels, stashed in U.S. and other countries. If he wields U.S. financial clout, it is not hard to track them down. Then he can force them to cough up from their bank account, not from Mexican governments, money to build the wall, with no real loss to Mexican public in general. If they do not comply, he can make public the web of their corruption, and bring legal action against them.

Of course, these crooks will perform one of the loudest political posturings you have seen in years. Expect to see them suddenly patriotic and warp themselves in Mexican flag.
