Gowdy needs to be primaried.
Gowdy sure is good at getting people to think he’s doing something in those hearings with his cross examinations. Maybe he can let us know when he actually wins something.
I’m with you, BeadCounter. I listen to Rush and Levin, and the attacks of them, even to the point of some saying they are not conservative, is laughable. Both see Cruz as the true conservative. They both also talk about how we should attack the Dems more than each other. In primaries, it is okay to go after policy differences from your competition though.
I have a lot of respect for Trey Gowdy..and even moreso for Tim Scott. I like him a lot, so of course, his endorsement got my attention. But I think they’re both wrong that Rubio is the only one that can win. I think their endorsement was premature. Rubio needs to be in the Senate, working with the other R Senators, helping to craft and promote a strong national security policy. We NEED the Senate. Badly. We also need to ditch Mitch in that process...but I digress.
So, Rush is God and his word is infallible? I don’t base my vote or candidate on what Rush, Levin or Hannity say. You shouldn’t either. Unless you like being led around by the nose and told what to do and how to vote. for. Never forget - follow the money and that goes for talk show hosts as well.

See, this is the problem. Different definitions of what is and isn’t conservative. The word conservative has lost all meaning, just as the word racist has.

I listened to Rush for a while today but turned him off. He did not have much to say about Rubio.

Like Gowdy, Rubio is all talk and no action....they are both in positions of power, but seem to have accomplished little if anything. It seems to be the matinee for the day.

What would one expect Rubio to say; he also said he was the ONLY ONE who could be elected, who could unite the Republican party. For one who likes to reel off bullet points, he never explains those assertions.
