We don’t do all that great on palliative care. Our “drug warriors” hsve doctors scared silly to prescribe effective levels of pain relief, even in terminal patients suffering excruciating pain. God forbid someone die a possible “addict” rather than a less painful emd of life.

It’s Obamacare but once someone is on hospice, they have access to unlimited morphine, lorazepam etc and can easily be overdosed if loved ones aren’t monitoring very closely doses given or a very trusted care provider.
Yep. My daughter is a nurse and has told me all the horror stories about that.
