Cruz spent a hell of a lot more. Practically camped out in Iowa for months.
Dang it, you were first with a very important point that contradicts the very meaning of the headline of this thread!
I'd also venture to say, that Trump has spent less than Cruz has from beginning to end, and yet virtually doubles him in most major polls nationally.
Not saying Cruz is a spendthrift, just that in the entire campaign dollar analysis, Cruz has spent more. And has less (so far).
