Good morning n’@!

We gots snow here. Our SD is on a delay—youngest son has 8am college class and roads bad (he commutes).

Stayed up to watch talking heads (thank goodness the Pens play tonight—I’m getting “Bern out” <- see what I did there, lol, on primaries).

Hillary got trounced. So I watched msnbc. They could not cover their fear/depression/anguish. And Maddow even said (I heard it!) “well I gave her an hour Monday night,” Any bets on when Biden has a change of heart? I’ll say it—Sanders is not a flip flopper or inexperienced. He stays true to his (I don’t agree with) ideals. Got to respect that he is consistent.

I’m afraid to comment on the Trump win. Not our Quinn Rise group, but the larger FR, is turning rabid (at times). I’ll be brave—glad Trump won; Kasich, squishy pro-amnesty & Common Core—meh; Cruz, a respectable third.

I’m glad GOPe, media, and Big Donors all getting a smack down from Trump, Cruz, even Sanders.

Good morning!

Trump wins, Hillary fails and the MSM is saying it’s a big win for Jeb!

Hoped Cruz would do better but I can live with Trump. We shall see what happens in SC, that’s where it really starts.

Mrs p6 and I were too busy watching Mardi Gras.Ool weather but very nice crowd. First time for decades I’ve been home and able to watch Mardi Gras at home.

Cruz was more than a respectable 3rd when you figure every other candidate outspent him. Bush, in particular, about 58-1. Cruz or lose!

That College/University that has a respectable record picking presidential race winners picks Bernie. That has me worried but how can a socialist win against a Trump or Cruz?

Morning! I am still in the Cruz camp, though I still worry about the birth thing; not because I believe him to be ineligible, but because of the precedent it sets. Anyway, like others here, I still support Cruz, but will be ok with a Trump win. Like Quinn was saying, people want action. They believe Trump will act on the issues - even if he is not the most ideal candidate on the issue that mean the most to them.

That said, here is a comment a Freeper made about Cruz. It says a lot. From the FreeRepublic post “What About Ted Cruz” LInk to thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3395118/posts
Slyfox’s comment is post #6.

It says a lot about how Cruz thinks; not just a knowledge of the inner working of our government and a respect for our Constitution, but an understanding of how the men who put together our form of government thought. That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing a Cruz/Trump ticket. One a man of great knowledge and a true conservative, and the other a man of action. We need both. Or, if necessary, flip the ticket to Trump/Cruz. Each bringing something necessary to the mix.

Just my humble opinion!

I am also still behind Cruz. The issue of his NBC status has always worried me, even before Trump brought it up. It was disappointing Cruz didn’t do more to address it. Because of that it may well haunt him the rest of the campaign.

We don’t need to go through all that again.

Perhaps that’s why Trump has been pushing it. It would still be an issue even if Cruz runs for VP with Trump. So Trump has been attacking Cruz to lessen his chances of a Trump/Cruz ticket.

Just whom might Trump want for VP? Hard to say. I might go with Lt Col Alan West but I don’t think he is interested. Off hand I can’t think of anyone else. Maybe Sarah but she is most likely of use elsewhere.

Same with Bolton and Walker.

I keep typing Alan West...sigh.

An iPod! Cool! Can you get Quinn on it? I guess my Android tablet is too old and tired, needs to be replaced. Kinda like me, LOL!

Speaking of Quinn I am having issues getting him in the mornings now even on the laptop. It seems to be an issue with the Xfinity router. No problems on my old Netgear router but it doesn’t have the range to get to where the laptop is. Mrs p6 prefers I NOT move her laptop, HAHAHA!

Moving the router is out so I’m checking the Xfinity outer settings. Don’t want to mess with it too much though because except for some podcasts it works great and FAST.

Oh my! Once you’re eligible you’re eligible.. precedent... you mean like Barry Seotoro.. like that precedent? The celebrity candidate who was the right color to be the first Black President who made a speech four years before saying there is no hyphenated America only the United States America!

I know I thought of that, but that’s been covered up and lied about. Not the first time. Chester Arthur may have lied about his birth. Cruz’s birth record, on the other hand, has not been covered up. It’s out there in the open and Cruz has not attempted to cover it up He has been honest about his place of birth. His candidacy will legitimize it for future candidates who might have born in, perhaps, an enemy country.

They had better get the “natural-born citizen” issue settled once and for all. I always believed that ‘natural born’ means born on American soil to to parents who were born on American soil. There should be no divided loyalties.

That said, I think Cruz would make an excellent president! I don’t doubt his loyalty at all. Just imagine If we went to war with Canada - and they won - they’d make us eat Canadian bacon, say ‘eh’, wear touques and eat poutine! OMG!!!!!
