Ted Cruz is a pussilanimous. Shortened to ‘pussy’. Does not mean ‘female body part’ and never has.

Latin for coward or weak.

Proper English for the educated world.

Ignorant people believe that it’s a curse word because the same word - with different origins - is sometimes used as slang for a ‘female body part’.

Uneducated people are easily confused. A brief study of etymology would do them a world of good.

Oh. Wait. You probably don’t know that word either.

Etymology. The study of the origin of words. You can find a dictionary on line.

So you expect your kid to not get in trouble if he uses the word at school? I sincerely hope you don’t have children if you’re raising them to be loud-mouthed Trump-like bullies.

Marie, you don’t mind if I call you pussy do you? Cruz is no coward. He was fighting the GOP Establishment while Trump was still schmoozing with the Clintons. Cruz was attacked by the GOP but he did not cave. He was blamed for shutting down the government and he did not cower. He went into a Philly crack house to save his sister...that is not cowardly. He maxed out a credit card for 20,000 dollars to take care of his nephew after his sister died of an over dose. Have a nice evening Marie aka Pussy

And I’ve seen people get all stirred up over, “pissant” and “niggardly”, thinking they’re not “nice”.

Language is interesting. A perfectly acceptable word in one era becomes off-color later. I think “piss” was just a normal word around Old English times; now it’s questionable. Bottom line, words are words.

Profanity is described in the Ten Commandments. Some here go to the Urban Dictionary. Of the two, I’ll take the Bible.
