Discriminating against men on the basis of need shouldn’t be an excuse when requiring them to sign up but giving ladies a free pass.

I don’t believe women should be on the front line for all kinds of reasons.

But we are facing an issue where men are forced to let them on the front line.

If you required women to sign up this might be the catalyst to change this whole debacle.

I’m ex-infantry. For a wide variety of reasons, I’d prefer to keep w/o.en out of the draft, front lines or not, until the need is truly great. The presence of women in military units greatly eroded overall effectiveness if not just for the amount of grabass that goes on. Ask me about my brief stint as a 12C someday.

I’m too old but if I were to be drafter I’d simply say that I “identify as a woman” and am ineligible.
