If the GOP had blocked Lynch’s confirmation, Obama would have picked someone else just as bad, if not worse. There is no way he would ever pick an Attorney General who wasn’t a partisan Democrat committed to his agenda.
Possibly but I’m not convinced. He nominated James Comey for FBI Director and Comey from what’s been said and as far as his prior actions is not in the tank for 0bama. In my view if the Senate had made it clear they weren’t going to confirm an 0bama lapdog Lynch wouldn’t be there and we might have a much better AG now.
