Stephanie Zarriello, the Observerâs publisher and editor-in-chief, made the strongly worded threat while speaking Saturday at a news conference following the death of Antronie Scott, an unarmed man shot and killed by an SAPD officer, a local Fox affiliate reported.
âWe at the San Antonio Observer newspaper are looking into the future prospects of publicizing the names and the addresses of all San Antonio Police Department officers in order to protect our community,â Ms. Zarriello said. âFor just as the names and addresses of sex offenders are publicized...

Stephanie Zarriello couldn't back pedal fast enough when the backlash started, especially having her home address put out there.

That was awesome! People are starting to stand up to the bullies finally!
The same mental illness that thinks that Police Officers are a threat to regular citizens is present in people who think that a gun in the hands of law-abiding citizens is more dangerous than the criminals running around, or that the threat from Islamic terrorists is lower than that represented by Christians!
To: jazusamo
A part of her comments was that they would release the addresses of law enforcement officers as they would any pedophile that lived in the neighborhood.

-having her home address put out there-
Yep, that usually puts a stop to this personal info publishing nonsense. Too bad she wasn’t bright enough to think that far down the road in the 1st place. That’s what happens when people who should be reporting the news want to BE the news.

Addresses of all employees and their families should be published....how's that media scum? Names and Addresses of the editorial board and corporate owners first, if you please.
Stephanie Zarriello, the publisher and editor-in-chief of the San Antonio Observer, said Saturday that the staff of the weekly tabloid âare looking into the future prospects of publicizing the names and the addresses of all San Antonio Police Department officers in order to protect our community.â She said Sunday that the Observer has no plans to follow through with the threat.
