That casual fans make up the vast majority of all NFL fans, and casual fans dig this dog squeeze. Look around at current popular culture. There’s a reason the NFL is the most popular pro sport by a mile, and they want to stay that way.

That people who might object will watch anyway. They’re right. Unless people stop watching nothing will change.

Enough Beyonce at halftime,,enough! No kidding!
I was very happy with Coldplay. I thought they were great. Fun, upbeat songs. I enjoyed the Bruno Mars song, too. Great dancing.
That was the consensus at our house. Two out of three isn't bad.
Great year for commercials, too. Our favorite was the dachshund hotdogs.

"What the hell was the NFL thinking?"
The NFL is moving past people like us, and has been doing so for quite a few years.
This is most evident in the half-time shows, which have become virtual pagan rituals, with the throngs of airhead fans surrounding the stage waving their arms in fake ecstasy, to the scantily-clad performers gyrating to barely-intelligible lyrics, to the pyrotechnics and glitz. It's fodder for the millennial masses.
