Cruz would consider restoring combat ban for women as president
Washington Examiner ^ | 1/31/2016 | Jacqueline Klimas

Cruz promised to take another look at the administration's decision late last year to open all positions to women. The administration's move ignored a request from the Marine Corps to keep some frontline combat positions male-only after some studies showed women were more likely to be injured and perform worse.

"The Marine Corps request [for exceptions] must be reconsidered," Cruz wrote in response to a Center for Military Readiness survey released Sunday. "As long as the requirements are fair and universally applied, the military must always place the best person for the job at hand, whether male or female, but we cannot let political correctness compel the military to lower its standards."

In survey answers, Cruz also said he would not require women to register for the draft and prioritize military readiness over social experimentation in the military.

Cruz would NOT have women register for selective service. A big difference from last night's politically correct, pandering RINOs Christie, Bush and Rubio caving into the radical feminazi agenda to fundamentally transform America.

I would.. if they can run for President they should have to register for the service like all eligible males have to.. that doesn’t mean they should go into combat but this isn’t 1950

Drafting women is a fundamental attack on the family unit.

I agree, woman can serve honorably without tossing them out to be ravaged by mohammadan savages. The truth will come out eventually of what has already happened to our women, such as that one young lady ganged raped over the duration of being imprisoned by those beasts. In light of such horrors the advocates In favor of combat are as awful as the enemy themselves and its difficult to separate their intentions.

The only reason that they want women in combat is so they
can make them eligible for the draft. That way crooked
perverted politicians can have something to extort young
women with to get them in the sack. No more biting lips.

If broads can be put on the front lines then they can be
made eligible for the draft.

If you believe in traditional gender roles, you understand that men, in general, are predisposed toward fighting/aggression whereas women are more inclined toward caretaking/aiding. That’s just nature.

Men are no longer willing to be disposal utilities to protect women that have greater power over them in the legal system, and have all of the ability to votre to send them to war without any harm to themselves.

But none of those rules apply in Utopian Queerville where homosexuals can marry and legitimize their need to adopt children so they can feed their need for pedophilia

It’s doubletalk.

Enforcing ‘equality’ means that spots must be held open for women if they want to fight and can qualify.

But it shouldn’t be up to them. The overhaul of the system that is required is wildly disproportionate to the slim numbers of women who will apply, to say nothing of the slimmer numbers of women who will succeed. Are we to build or refit barracks that held 40 men to accommodate 2 women?

The program is in its infancy (pun intentional) and already there is agitation among PC brass and politicians to lower standards. It’s the thin end of the wedge now with combat readiness and capability at stake.

Women in combat is simply more of Everybody Gets A Trophy. The psychological pressures on their male counterparts is well documented and there is no policy or training that will overcome basic human nature.

Very true. The problem is in today’s western society, due to pc and feminazism; women have their cake and eat it too. My hubs laughs at the hypocrisy of that rabid red haired feminazi calling for “some muscle” to oust a reporter.

Feminazis never wanted true equal rights; they want and get special rights. The gay and transgender movement has followed that exact same mindset.

One of my former co-workers got spoonfed up the ladder in IT by the guy she was married to. Yet she was the biggest “feminist” around. Banked her entire salary, lived off his; had the finest hairstyles and fashion at work, but had her husband carry HER laptop, do 3/4s of her job (hardware part) and then made HIM write step by step instructions for her to do the other 1/4 of the job.

Then would go around bragging she was a “smart woman” a “strong woman” etc meanwhile having tantrums on the job if things didnt go exactly her way. She also was 100% democrat and her wedge issue was abortion. She’s now in her late fifties, divorced, bitter, no children of her own, forced out in retirement and sitting on a pile of money made from two divorces.

Western men have never had equality in the family courts. There is more false chivalry and debtors prison going on now by way of the divorce industry than ever before.

Just ask any man who is an obligor for Child Support. The gov’t agencies, who get kickbacks for every CS dollar collected, will go after non custodial dad like dogs at a fox hunt.
By contrast, see how little these collection agencies and courts are interested in going after deadbeat “equal” biomoms, who often have large feminist incomes, college degrees and have decided to skip out on their own children.

Drafting women is a fundamental attack on the family unit.

Of course it is. But, "self actualization" and "fulfilling ones potential" have become the ultimate in our degraded and depraved society. And people want it so.

And then wonder why we are wading through the muck.

Translation: Cruz took the same position as everyone else on that stage last night. Same as Trump. Keep the status quo and review. Amazing what lengths you’ll go to in order to try and save St. Ted from his own words.

During WW II, there was no shortage of women volunteering to join the military for jobs in which they were physically qualified.

Well said. I’ve seen the ‘tough career woman’ act more times than I can count, inevitably followed by breakdowns, crying jags and rages behind closed doors. If a man lost the plot that often he would be an office pariah and severely curtail his prospects.
