Many of the small towns in CT don’t have their own Police depts., instead they rely on CSP.
Normally they pay to have a “Resident State Trooper(s)” exclusively in that town for for specific times, but outside of that the nearest trooper in the Troop’s coverage areas responds, could be three towns away.
