Looks like somebody's gonna make a little money for the decadence on the playa this year. Looks like the ticket prices range from just over $400 to well over $1,000. To relax in the Black Rock Desert. You know, full of blowing sand, unpredictable weather hot or cold. Plenty of RV rentals for those that really want to rough it. So, how come all these folks fly in pay big bucks for tickets and after it's over we still see some "seeking" money to get back to wherever they came from. Ah yes. The pungent odor of stale weed and patchouli oil will once again fill the air.

LOL! And if last year is anything to go by, there will be plenty of “rock star” tour busses out there. We saw row after row of them lined up at Grand Sierra Resort prior to the ‘festivities’. And what a mess when they came back at the end of the week. Yikes! Wouldn’t want to be on that clean up detail.

Hmmm. Seems like some eco wacko might object to the senseless waste of perfectly good material.

Will the Burney Sanders campaign get “comp” tickets?

The pungent odor of stale weed and patchouli oil will once again fill the air.
At those ticket prices, nothing but the best bud will be consumed. I may saddle up and get down there.

This year's annual tribute to Woodstock ... without the music.
Do NOT open a soap concession.

A flaming Democrat!! He’s feeling the Bern.
To: rktman
Yeah
I can’t believe how much it costs to go and stand in a desert and watch something burn. Maybe it is better just to light the money on fire and be done with it.
To: nascarnation
LOL! Bad news for the BM administrative folks. Their uncle bernie’s gonna make it free. Bye bye pay check.

Nope. But we “know” people that attend. Seen a lot of the attendees “bathing” in the Sands pool. LOL! Plus we get lots of pics and videos. Not my cup of tea.

“... light the money on fire and be done with it.” That’s what the casinos are for. LOL!

I will confess that I have said that in a casino once :)

In 2015, BM tickets were $800/person retail.
(Don’t ask, don’t tell, LOL)

If they were still doing Woodstock I’m sure it would cost more than the Super Bowl.
