Robama? Obama with an “R.” In New England, it would be “Robamer”

That’s just it. Jeb and Kasich ARE NOT on our side. They are a worse enemy than the dems, because if either one of them is nominated, nothing changes. How about Cruz attacks them instead of Mr. Trump and Dr. Carson?

Adding to my last post: Cruzers are going after Rubio. Rubio might be the only firewall left standing to stop Jeb and Kasich. That worries me. Cruz would really risk that?

Jeb and Kasich are worse than Sanders and Clinton?

Cruz is crushing those two. They are irrelevant. He’ll be in the race longer than either with more votes at each stop. So are Trump and Rubio. Those three are all that’s relevant and the field will shrink more to prove that after NH and SC.

Good analysis of Rubio, if one was searching the skies for black helicopters and wearing a tin foil hat.

Stop THE DEMS. Worry about THE DEMS. Where is your sense of proportion, Grania?

YES!!.

Our ONLY chance of saving the US for its citizens is if we get someone in the presidency who is not bought and paid for. If we get Jeb or Kasich, it's the same old garbage from DC. It really doesn't matter who is in charge if nothing changes.

So now I understand. You’re a proponent of the Second Most Evil Theorem. That theorem that got us McCain and Romney as our go-to loser candidates, that gave us a President that created the DHS and TSA - THE most freedom taking government agencies ever created, and a 19 Trillion dollar debt, courtesy of all those ‘second-most evil’ RINOs elected to Congress under false pretenses. I’m not buying what your selling.

What I’m saying is that after the shenanigans in Iowa, I want to hear it from Cruz, directly, that he could NEVER support Jeb or Kasich.

Rubio in second place in New Hampshire. NH voters are notorious late deciders with as many as half picking a candidate in the last 3 days.

If the Trump/Cruz death grip continues, Rubio might pull of a win there.

You understand nothing. I'm a proponent of the Big Tent and the Eleventh Commandment. Always have been.

There used to be a largely mythical code of honor among Republican candidates called "The 11th Commandment", "Thou shalt not attack thy fellow Republican". It came out of the party's long sojourn in the political wilderness that began in 1932 and didn't really end until 1994 (Eisenhower, Nixon, and Reagan/Bush I were elected with a lot of disenchanted Democrat votes). Now the Republicans focus more viciousness against one another through the primaries, damaging their eventual candidate, who then seems unwilling to fight but instead walks on eggs against the Democrats in the Fall.

Trump has raised the primary campaign internecine nastiness to a new schoolyard taunt level. When he was focused on "building the wall", "bringing jobs back", and "making America great again", all of which are empty feel good phrases but at least paint a positive and hopeful picture, a lot of us may have had our doubts but were willing to listen and be persuaded. But by now much of the latent opposition to him has hardened. He had a chance after Monday night to change that and it looked like he was going to try. By Tuesday evening it was clear he learned nothing from his Iowa defeat.

Sure - if the alternatives are Rodham or Sanders.

I don't think you holier than thou types on the endless quest for a simon-pure candidate are even conservative. Most times, you're a stick in the spokes of conservatism.

But he might change, given how poorly that's being received on the campaign trail.

I want to make one thing perfectly clear. I am NOT a ‘Republican’ for the sake of accepting appeasing, quisling acceptance and assistance of Democrats’ will over our country.

Conservatives all too often fall prey to the automatic assumption that Republicans are the guardians of conservatism. They are, in fact, patently not. They have shown us over these last two decades they (those in legislative power) are more concerned with their feathered beds, good relations with media and in giving that effing Muslim in office every damned thing he wants. Argue that point why don’t you?

We have RINO establishments new guardians of Democrat policy on the forefront of our politics, once again. Jeb Bush and John Kasich (I’d personally add Marco Rubio to that, too). Don’t tell me about the 11th commandment. Don’t tell me about Reagan. I lived his time and never revered someone so much. Invoking his name for a bunch of RINO appeaser establishment pukes is heresy in my book.

Fighting fire begets using fire! You have to cut breaks in the fire line to stop the fire and prevent further damage, and as far as I’m concerned cleaning the garden out from weeds like Jeb, Kasich and Amnesty Rubio are the first thing to do before you can enter your garden in the ‘best garden’ show for the neighborhood.
