That is not the question.

Never has been. Never will be

Reagan may or may not have been a constitutional scholar. There is no question he lived America and its people. He never lost that

I thought Ted had more integrity

Next, they'll find out that Ted compared Ben Carson to a child molester. Oh wait . . .

Interesting, seems nearly the entire “celebrity lawyer” class is actively subverting the NBC clause of the constitution. Kellyanne Conway, another name to add to the long list. Easier to track the ones who actually read and understand SCOTUS precedent.

Push polling is a method used by candidates like Cruz to determine what their unshakable conservative principles are. Then they can be presented to voters in political ads.

it is not the question because you dislike the answer.

trump is not a conservative, or a friend to the constitution.

he will make deals with the GOPe and democrats to the detriment of the american people.

and he will give amnesty to all illegals here.

Cruz just oozes slime and creepy.

Tricky Teddy up to his old tricks. Goldman Sachs Values, indeed. The meltdown in Cruztown will be epic if we end up with a Rubio/Cruz ticket. Trump is the only thing standing in the way of that, IMO. Cruz is a careerist who will play ball for the GOPe if it suits his career.

I am not for trump but I am getting less and less thrilled by Ted the politician

You completely ignored my other point because your question is meaningless. This is not a school exam

Mr. Clean devolving to Bush tactics The more I see the less I like I thought Ted had more integrity

Like I said in post #31, push polling has gone on for a long time -- and in EVERY significant race.

Nothing distinct here.

In fact, a lot of push polling thru the years has been done door to door. The difference is now is phone systems and databases have become more sophisticated, allowing more homes to be called.

It's a simple survey. And yes, the survey-takers are indeed interested in people's responses; in fact, they're recorded.

In most calls, no extended interaction is undertaken.

The "push" -- as it's called -- is more simply a gentle nudge: If a call recipient has indicated they have taken a position at odds with the other side's candidate re: the questions already asked, the caller simply informs that "they may be interested to know" about that specific contrast.

That's it. Nothing lacking integrity here.

I got a call for Rubio and cut them off immediately stating my displeasure with the gang of eight.... Could anything change my mind, no! So they thanked me and hung up!

“...actions of the two show who knows the constitution best.”

The Constitution has a treaty clause, and since the Founders regarded treaties as very important, they provided that it would require a two-thirds vote of the Senate to confirm a treaty. Remember, a two-thirds vote to PASS the treaty.

Senator Corker of Tennessee got together with Obama to write a bill that would green light his Iranian deal, which of course is really a treaty since it deals with a foreign power, which is what a treaty does. That bill removed the treaty classification, and it up-ended the Constitution by requiring a two-thirds vote to KILL the bill, rather than a two-thirds vote to pass the bill.

Now, you would think that someone who reveres the Constitution would be repulsed by the reversal of the treaty protection of the Constitution.
Cruz, the modern day incarnation of the Constitution according to his fans, didn’t blink an eye; he voted for the bill.

On a previous thread I mentioned something not conservative about Trump. A Trump supporter asked for proof. I provider links to a few different sites to back up what I said. The response I got was “whoopie shit. I refuse to click on your stupid links.”
Trump supporters, always keeping it classy.

After Iowa I have zero respect for Cruz. He was my number two but now Trump is my only choice. I’m going Trump or going home. Somehow we have to get Trump elected.
