Where one of the most beautiful things in my life happened ... My oldest son was born there!

Does Exeter really still look like that picture? Nothing like that in TX, for sure. It’s gorgeous.

Do they also have ugly strip malls and big box stores?

Thanks for posting the picture - looks like a beautiful town! And, congratulations on the birth of your oldest son - however long ago that may have been.

I see you’re in Iowa - my dad was born and raised there and we visited my grandparents (God rest all their souls) there every other year or so. I have fond memories of Iowa, it’s people and the visits. My grandmother used to drive out to local farms and get eggs and corn - best I ever had! She also made the best canned peaches I ever had.
