David Daleiden Prosecutor Got Money, PR Help From Late Term Abortionist’s Lawyer

The Houston prosecutor whose grand jury indicted two pro-life activists behind the Planned Parenthood sting but cleared the group of wrongdoing is closely connected to the lawyer for a late-term abortionist she failed to prosecute.

Chip Lewis, the attorney for Douglas Karpen, did spin control for Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson after she came under fire for letting his doctor client off the hook. He also contributed $25,000 to her election campaign the following year.

Lewis has even suggested that the outcome for his client could explain why the grand jury indicted Center for Medical Progress founder David Daleiden, who made the videos, and not Planned Parenthood.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The Houston prosecutor handling the only criminal case to date over stealth video of Planned Parenthood clinics around the U.S. has infuriated anti-abortion activists before: In 2013, a grand jury on her watch cleared a doctor accused of ending late-term pregnancies.

Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson, a Republican originally appointed by former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, is now watching her party fume after she announced a grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood of misusing fetal tissue — and instead indicted the makers of undercover video widely embraced by the GOP. But those who know the former judge say she is no ideologue and won't buckle to politics.

Seems ethically challenged to say the least.

The grand jury wasn’t presented with the incriminating evidence... the “doctor” delivered nearly full term babies alive and twisted their heads off according to eyewitness nurses on hundreds of occasions,, also there was falsification of gestational age reporting.. This judge is DIRTY and will help the DEMOCRAT abortion (fundraising) machine anyway possible.
