It always amazes me when secular progressives scold the rest of us about what a particular religion teaches or doesn’t. It is doubly amazing when the religion would aggressively impose itself upon those same progressives should it ever gain power.
Progressives think the future world will be increasingly progressive, eventually leading to the progressive Utopia.
Muslims think the future world will be Muslim with the few infidels paying jizzya.
Progressives think they can co-opt the Muslims. But of the two groups, Muslims can be far more ruthless far more quickly than can the Progressives. Guess who wins that contest? Guess what Muslims do to the infidel losers.

They aren’t even phony believers in their religion like Kerry himself - a divorced man who professes to be a Catholic yet takes Holy Communion against the dictates of the church and supports abortion in violation of one of the most strongly held beliefs of the church.
