“First in South Carolina . . . That might be a little tough.”

Tim Scott endorsed him fairly quickly.

Niki Haily for certain hates Trump, and isn’t interested in Cruz

Graham? That’s no going to be a tough one to figure out.

SC is to push him past Cruz to set him up to battle Trump in Florida.

Cubans Vs. the Snow Birds

THAT is going to be a awesome show.

It isn't there. Florida may be geographically close to South Carolina, but politically and culturally (outside the panhandle) they are worlds apart.

South Carolina has a fair number of evangelicals as well, and Cruz has a solid grounf game there. Here in Georgia, Rubio is on the radar, but it's really Trump/Cruz. The southisn't Rubio's turf. He will do better in the northeast and in parts of the southwest, and of course in Florida itself.

Every one of the GOPe in South Carolina endorsed Romney over Newt in 2012 and Newt still beat him handily.

Trump has been leading SC for the past year. Sometimes by as many as 20 points. The people are a lot smarter than the RINOs running the once conservative state. They will pull out all stops to carry it for Rubio, but it will almost have to take election fraud for Rubio to beat Trump in SC. The latest polling data has Trump beating Rubio by 24 points and beating Cruz by 16.
