The recent statement from Lavoy’s family contains the notice that he was reacting to being shot in the side by one of the cowards who killed him.
The family also is providing for their own autopsy of Lavoy’s body.
If Lavoy’s body reveals a gunshot wound to the side, then the FBI, Harney County and the Oregon State Police will be back peddling furiously.
Regardless of the findings of the autopsy, The execution of Lavoy is a major moment in the struggle to take back AMERICA!!!!

I hope you're right about the awareness. It should not take very long at all to find out if he was shot in the hip(s) as has been speculated. Without audio that's all one can do is speculate.
