Rand Paul is about the last one I expected to get out.

Good for Cruz since most libertarians see him as the natural 2nd choice.

But Cruz, being the hard core “religious right” would not be attractive to Paul supporters. They will go to Rubio or Bernie.

Cruz isn't nearly libertarian enough. Paul supporters will probably just stay home now and start preparing for the Hillary Thugocracy.
