My recollection is that UConn had those blue-light topped emergency poles about every 25 feet all through the campus. No matter where you were, when the rape or assault began, you could be sure that you were mere steps away from signalling for help.
My daughter did not feel reassured, and decided to go elsewhere.

When I was in school in the early 90’s they had special free tutoring centers open to all non white students regardless of family income. We oppressors did not have the option of “identifying” as an oppressed minority (regardless of family income)

I speak for myself here and yeah I am of a darker skin color I am, but its really sad that their predecessors fought against Jim Crow so that all for these jack@sses to crap on all the progress made since then, also I would find it insulting that I need to be around some so called black community to make my time in college easier instead of choosing what dorm I want and classes I wish take as an individual and having lower standards as well just because, thus that is bigotry in my opinion.
