Clueless in Cambridge
Accuracy in Academia ^ | March 9, 2010 | Malcolm A. Kline

The last Republican president and his Democratic successor both graduated from schools within Harvard University and that should probably be a literal red flag. "Understanding Harvard Law School is very important to understanding our president, Barack Obama," Texas attorney Ted Cruz said in an interview with scholar Marvin Olasky that appeared in the November 7, 2009 issue of World magazine. "He is very much a creature of Harvard Law."

"To understand what that means you have to understand that there were more self-declared communists on the Harvard faculty that there were Republicans," Cruz avers. "Every single idea this president has proposed in the nine months he’s been in office has been orthodox wisdom in the Harvard faculty lounge."

Like the current commander-in-chief, a Harvard Law grad himself, Cruz served as solicitor general in the lone star state, the youngest in history to hold that office. "The communists on the Harvard faculty are generally not malevolent; they generally were raised in privilege, have never worked very hard in their lives, don’t understand where jobs and opportunity come from."

"If you asked the Harvard faculty to vote on whether this nation should become a socialist nation, 80 percent of the faculty would vote yes and 10 percent would think that was too conservative."

Malcolm A. Kline is the Executive Director of Accuracy in Academia.

I would bet those numbers would hold across all The Ivies, and a significant portion of academia as a whole nationally, maybe with some exceptions in the hard sciences and engineering disciplines. Another prime example from Harvard - Elizabeth Warren. Fakes her way onto the law school faculty, pulling down a comfy $500K per annum, uses that as a stepping stone to The Senate, all the while acting as the SJW (social justice warrior, not single Jewish woman).

Well, we think Obola graduated from Harvard Law School. He did apparently attend Harvard Law School, but nobody remembers going to classes with him at Harvard Law School.

Nobody anywhere has seen his records, grades, scores, or transcripts.

What was it William Buckley said about the Harvard faculty - he would rather be governed by names chosen at random from the phone book than the Harvard faculty.

The problem with the faculty in academia is they never spent a day working in the real world. The world where you had to wrestle a jackhammer that weighed as much as you to bust up concrete on a 95 degree day. Or spend a day in 38 degrees and steady rain nailing plywood on a roof. Or even more important, spend a significant amount of time with the people who do that for a living.

“’You’ve never worked in the private sector, they expect results!’-Ghostbusters”

Great point.

“Everyone has three mortgages nowadays!”— Ghostbusters

I do some computer consulting and many of my clients are Ivy League.

I actually had an email asking how to turn on/up the volume on the clients iPad as she was going to Hawaii for three weeks and thought she might like to watch a video...she has had the iPad for three years.

Another client (Harvard Law) has me show her how to make PDF’s on her $1,800 laptop. And show her how to print double sided ‘have to conserve paper!’

Lot’s of stories...
