Around 100 hard-left militants and 100 Neo-Nazis took to the streets of Dover in the South East of England today, ostensibly to wage war on the streets over their differing views on the Calais Jungle camp and the ongoing migrant crisis.
But the two groups had very little to say on the issues themselves, with the left-wing militants intent on provoking violence at a march led by the National Front, initially billed to be in support of British truckers being attacked and threatened in Calais, France, by migrants.

I heard a John Batchelor interview with David Pietrusza who wrote “1932: The Rise of Hitler and FDR”. There were a lot of calls for dictatorship on both sides of the Atlantic.

As an aside, I’d say that the tourist business, not only the UK, but throughout Europe and Scandinavia is now over. I feel sorry for all the small mom/pop bed and breakfasts over there. They’ll all be bankrupt soon.

That wasn’t a real fight. It was a frat party brawl. No one was killed, injuries were minor, and only 9 were arrested.
Hell, the Klan and American Nazis killed at least 6 Communist Workers Party armed assailants in Greensboro, NC back in the late 1970’s. Now that was a serious fight.
And do you know who was an active supporter of the CWP, none other than famed physicist Dr. Michio Kaku. He’s doing tv adds now to supplement his professor’s salary.

The two groups were there to confront (preferably, fight) each other. They’re simply the latest manifestation of the extreme left/extreme right fringes which have been looking for street brawls with each other since the 1930s. The numbers of each are, as they always have been, tiny.
They sure do love him on PBS and the like.

In a choice between Nazis and Communists, I choose neither. Surely there must be a more reasonable selection.

I am not familiar with the EDL but the media and the left have a long history of slandering people who disagree with them as NAZI’s.
