Cruz's campaign stances seem quite a lot like GWB's for his first campaign. Back then, we thought we were getting a conservative,we got a pro-corporate globalist.

Think about it. Has Cruz campaign rhetoric told us anything he'd do to strip power of the big banks or reverse globalism?

Most people knew that GWB was soft on immigration and many other issues. At least I did. We truly haven't had a strong conservative like Cruz in position to win the nomination since Reagan (and you could make the case that Cruz is even stronger on some issues).

Among other things, Cruz won the case against the Bush Administration and the World Courts defending US Sovereignty

DEFENDING U.S. SOVEREIGNTY, SEPARATION OF POWERS, AND FEDERALISM IN MEDELLÍN V. TEXAS

Cruz has famously opposed the Export-Import Bank legislation even calling out McConnell as a liar on the Senate Floor.

He also strongly opposes the bailouts.
